As a student of history and culture, this experience was truly unparalleled. I was truly blessed to be able to experience this year abroad, and would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing the financial assistance to make my dream become a reality.

My experience in France has changed the way I view societies, politics, education, and cultures. I could write a novel about my experiences, but I have to end this report emphasizing the importance of the Education Abroad Program for all the students. The Education Abroad Program in Lyon was a true challenge and an eye opener experience for me. I am truly grateful to the Education Abroad Program and to the Dan Wise Memorial Scholarship for giving me the opportunity to expand my horizons, discover an amazing culture, and to learn the true meaning of independence.
