Finances, Scholarships, and Financial Aid
The Money Matters chapter in the UCEAP Guide to Study Abroad, and the Finances tab in the Participants section of the UCEAP website, contain detailed information on a wide range of important financial issues for you and your student. Please review this content carefully with them. Provided in the information is how to pay UCEAP program costs. The following are a few key points to keep in mind:
- Your student’s UCEAP account is not reflected on his or her campus billing system.
- UCEAP uses payment coupons, included at the end of the Student Budget Worksheet found on the Finances tab of the Participants section of the UCEAP website, that indicate when payments are due, the payment amounts, and the address where the payments need to be sent.
- Students who have an outstanding balance at the end of the program will receive a final billing statement from UCEAP by email.
- Holds or blocks will be issued at UC campuses for participants who do not meet their financial obligations.
